Motion Detectors

Motion detectors are required by code to acheive hands free exit. The motion detector sends a signal to the access control system to unlock the door for a pre-set period of time. Motion detectors are many times mounted on the door frame directly above the door. Motion detectors are FM rated and only rated motion detectors can be used as egress devices.
