Access Cards

Access cards are common place for gaining access to office space after hours, noy just in the Houston area, but around the nation. Access cards come in several different technologies but the preferred technology is Proximity where the card is presented to the card reader in a close proximity rather than swiping or inserting. A much older technology but still used today is Barcode that offered the user the ability to make their own cards. Like other tecnologies such as Wiegand or Magstripe, where it was required to swipe the card through the reader, it has given way to the proximity reader technology.
Entrance Controls has been in the business of providing access cards from manufacturers such as HID Global for well over 20 years right here in the Houston area and can provide cards for most systems.
