Proximity Reader

Proximity readers are becoming the preferred reader in that the user simply places the card within the proximity of the card reader. Distances vary from one model to another from a few inches to 30 feet or more. There are several manufacturers and models depending on your specific application. This particular card technology does NOT require swiping or inserting the card. Simply present the card within the proximity range of the reader.
