Wiegand Reader

Wiegand technology is widely used in several formats. The wiegand card readers are highly reliable and require no maintenance other than brushing the dirt from the reader slot. Of course the reader works just as well mounted upside down preventing the dirt to collect in the reader slot. Although a very reliable technology we have been informed by the manufacturer the Wiegand Readers and cards will be discontinued and the last order date is December 31, 2102.
